Wondering what good or bad experiences anyone's had with a Mirena and ME/CFS?
Planned to ask before having one recently to try reducing erratic pain and bleeding (perimenopause?). Pain much worse since, and diarrhoea all day today - is it the Mirena?
I was told as a teen - long before ME/CFS diagnosis 17yrs ago - that I had IBS. Never had pain and diarrhoea all day like today though. Might just be a gastro, but...?

@Adventurous-Anne Just popping on to send you good wishes. At least one of my sisters has had one and found it good, but she doesn't have ME/CFS.
Those are horrible symptoms. I hope your doctor can help.

Thanks Dot. I'm blessed with an understanding GP. Resisted Mirena for 2 years but gynae confident it was the best option. At least it's removable! 😊 ME/CFS doesn't leave me much capacity to deal with extra health issues, so we figured it's worth a try. Wish I'd researched more, though.

@Adventurous-Anne that doesn't sound normal, I think you should see a doctor in case you have an infection around the mirena or something. Hope you're ok!
