Do you ever go to the hairdresser's just to get your hair washed?
I have long (and tangle prone) hair and the stretches between washes these days are just getting longer and longer and grosser and grosser.
Honestly its a very big task and uses up a lot of spoons. I usually only wash it lying down in a the tub these days.
I don't want to cut it short just because of this.
It popped into my mind today that it would be great if someone could do it for me.
Do hairdressers do this?
obviously I will call around and ask, but I just want to know if it is an odd ask!? lol.
I think there is a hairdresser near me as well who is all natural products so hopefully that will mean low chemicals. triggers..
I'd prefer this rather than having some kind of care support worker come hereto my home and do it. The hairdresser's have the set up for it and everything.

@coco When I was able to go to the hairdresser there was a lady that came in every time I was there (and I then found out she came every week) for a wash and blow dry, so no I don't think it's a weird ask! If that's what you'd feel most comfortable doing then I think definitely see what they offer.
I totally understand the thought process behind this @coco. I put off showering because of just how huge the effort is of washing & DRYING my hair
I don't think it's unusual, I have gone into hairdressers to only have my hair washed before. What has stopped me from seriously considering the idea of going to the hairdressers to get my hair washed regularly has been weighing up the energy/PEM it takes to wash my hair at home compared to the energy/PEM it'll take to attend regular hair appointments.
And also please don’t Make me talk the entire time lol … some hairdressers can be too chatty for my spoon budget

@coco It is so worth a try, when you are ready to try. Make sure you tell them you have chronic headache and ask for a quiet time, that will signal you don't need to be constantly chatted at.
it works really well.
Oohh @dot love that! Good tip
I think I will try some 'dry shampoo' in between washes in the meantime...
